Michael Clark

As GTA's Director of Communications, Mr. Clark is responsible for developing strategies and materials to promote GTA’s goals and initiatives. He oversees publications, video and audio projects, and manages the employee intranet and Web site content development.

Mr. Clark has worked in the communications field for more than 30 years.  He began his career in state government as public information officer for the State Health Planning Agency.  He then worked in communications at the Department of Administrative Services and came to GTA shortly after it was formed in 2000.  Prior to joining state government, he worked as a writer for a daily newspaper.  He graduated with honors from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia.
