Michael Clark

Michael Clark directs the Office of Communications, which develops strategies and materials to promote GTA’s goals and initiatives. The office oversees publications, produces video and audio projects for state agencies, and manages the employee intranet and Web site content development.

Michael has worked in the communications field for more than 30 years.  He began his career in state government as public information officer for the State Health Planning Agency.  He then worked in communications at the Department of Administrative Services and came to GTA shortly after it was formed in 2000.  Prior to joining state government, he worked as a writer for a daily newspaper.  He graduated from the Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication at the University of Georgia.
