Eligibility requirements for voting in Georgia are the same as any other state's. Voters must be 18 years old, U.S. citizens, and legal residents of Georgia and the county where they are voting.

If you're registered to vote in Georgia, you can find out where to vote by looking at the poll location printed on your precinct card. If you've lost your precinct card, the Secretary of State's web site contains a poll locator that enables voters to find out where they can vote.

If you're not registered to vote, the web site also contains links to information and applications regarding registration. There are several ways to register, including online applications, mail-in applications and motor voter registration.

You can also view all of the state's election dates and the corresponding registration deadlines.

For more information or to register, visit Secretary of State Karen Handel's web site.
