Development Gate
During the Development Phase, the system developer takes the detailed logical information documented in the previous phase and transforms it into machine-executable form. The developer ensures that all of the individual components of the automated system/application function correctly and interface properly with other components within the system/application. As necessary and appropriate, system hardware, networking and telecommunications equipment, and COTS/GOTS software are acquired and configured.
The Development Phase Stage Gate Review considers the following deliverables and whether they justify proceeding to the Test Phase:
- Training Plan
- Security Plan
- Operations and Users Manuals
