Instructions for ordering Oracle products and services (state agencies only):

  1. Submit a product request to Oracle’s contact, and Oracle will respond with a quote.
  2. Once your agency approves the quote, follow one of the steps below.

    1. If the quote is $100,000 or more, GTA Enterprise Technology Planning must review and approve the purchase.  After receiving approval from GTA, your agency may request an ordering document from Oracle.  Be sure it matches the GTA-approved ordering document posted above.  Then, submit the fully executed ordering document and Purchase Order directly to Oracle.
    2. If the quote is under $100,000, your agency may proceed with requesting an ordering document from Oracle.  Again, be sure it matches the GTA-approved odering document.  Submit the fully executed ordering document and Purchase Order directly to Oracle, then notify GTA about your purchase by sending an e-mail to Tim.Swink@gta.ga.gov.
  3. Oracle will invoice your agency for the product and first year’s maintenance. If your agency has existing Oracle products, you may choose to terminate the yearly maintenance on all your Oracle products at the same time.  After the first year, your agency will be billed on a quarterly basis for maintenance.
  4. Oracle will authorize your agency to go to its metalink to download the software or order it on CD. Be prepared to provide your agency’s CSI number.
  5. Oracle will adjust your inventory each time a purchase is made. Annual true-up will be the sum of the previous year’s true-up baseline inventory plus any purchases made during the year.
  6. Your agency pays Oracle directly.
