GTA Issues Warning About Malicious Pop-up Messages - May 23, 2011
GTA issued an updated Information Technology Reporting Standard on March 31, 2011. State agencies are required to comply with the standard in submitting information about their information security program, technology assets, projects and expenditures. Agency reports are due by July 31.
GTA will compile the agency reports into the State of Georgia Annual Information Technology Report, which will be submitted to the Governor’s Office and legislators. The annual report helps them understand the current state of information technology, its related risks and each agency’s efforts to manage those risks while meeting the business needs of its employees and constituencies. The report also gives state leaders the information they need to make fact-based decisions about necessary improvements.
If you have any questions regarding the reporting standard or your agency’s report, please contact Mark Reardon at Mark.Reardon@gta.ga.gov.
