Thousands of Georgians are affected by crime each year. These crimes affect individuals, families, communities and businesses.

Help for Victims

The Multi-Agency Victim Services Partnership is a collaboration of state agencies working to restore Georgia victims their dignity, safety and well-being by providing leadership, guidance and information to crime victims and their families through communication, partnership and education.

Search the Georgia Department of Corrections population by offense, sentence status, and location.

Crime Victim Compensation Program
The Criminal Justice Coordinating Council's Crime Victim Compensation Program helps victims and witnesses of violent crime who are injured or threatened with an injury. CVCP will help pay for medical and dental care, mental health counseling services, income loss, crime scene clean up, and funeral expenses when the costs are not covered by other sources.

The Identity Theft Resource Center helps individuals, businesses and law enforcement officers understand more about the crime of identity theft, what steps to take to stop it and how to respond if it occurs.
