Duties & Responsibilities
The primary responsibilities of the position include defending state officers and employees in federal and state actions alleging civil rights violations, including primarily actions under the Americans with Disabilities Act and alleged violations of the United States Constitution. Travel is required as well as extensive research, writing and court appearances. POSITION IS OPEN UNTIL FILLED.
Minimum Training & Experience
Member of the Georgia Bar AND graduation from an accredited law school. Preference will be given to applicants with 7 to 9 years of litigation experience and/or civil rights related experience.

A criminal background check is completed on all candidates; employment is also contingent upon the completion and satisfactory results of the background investigation.
