GTA Launches Enterprise Performance Life Cycle Framework

GTA continues to improve enterprise IT governance practices by introducing the Enterprise Performance Life Cycle (EPLC) framework. Effective July 1, 2009, we are looking at projects and applications in a new way and adapting industry best practices to how we do business in the state of
The EPLC framework is a set of processes, guidelines and templates to be used by state agencies to assure that IT investments and assets are delivering on their expected benefits and capabilities. This approach will also assure that agency business needs drive decision making by providing visibility and accountability at each step in defining, delivering and supporting IT investments.
The EPLC framework is being introduced in a manner that is not disruptive to current agency processes but provides improvements to long-term results. Hands-on training and education will be provided, and GTA will support agencies throughout the process.
