Monroe Doctor Arrested on Sexual Battery Charges

MONROE, GA - On Wednesday, September 10, 2008, Officers with the Monroe Police Department and Agents of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation arrested Doctor Kallambella C. Ramesh charging him with six (6) misdemeanor counts of Sexual Battery. Doctor Ramesh, a 65 year-old Internal Medicine doctor, operates a practice at 225 South Midland Avenue, Monroe, Walton County, Georgia.
The charges are the result of an investigation into inappropriate sexual contact with patients at his office, some dating back to 2006. Dr. Ramesh was arrested and transported to the Walton County Jail.
The investigation is continuing.
