Welcome to the Office of the Georgia Attorney General. I am honored to serve as Georgia’s 53^rd Attorney General.

Georgia’s Constitution authorizes The Attorney General to offer opinions regarding legal issues that concern the State of Georgia and its agencies; represent the State of Georgia in capital felony appeals and all civil cases; prosecute public corruption; prepare contracts for state agencies; and serve as legal advisor for the Governor and the state government.

Along with the more than 200 dedicated employees in our office, we strive every day to serve the needs of Georgia's citizens with excellence and transparency. Our mission is to provide the citizens of Georgia with the highest quality of legal representation, as we uphold the laws and Constitution of Georgia.
